Growing Digital Confidence: From Curious Explorers to Tech Trailblazers
Digital literacy means having the skills to find, understand, and use technology safely and effectively. It includes knowing how to navigate websites, use apps, protect personal information, and think critically about online content.
Digital confidence is the ability to use these skills with ease and independence. It’s about feeling comfortable with technology, solving problems, and making smart choices online.
Together, digital literacy and confidence help children become capable, responsible digital citizens in today’s connected world.
Each stage of childhood brings new opportunities to build digital literacy. Meet Ella as she grows — from playful beginnings to confident, creative tech use.

Digital Safety Tips
Stay Smart, Stay Safe Online! Whether you're gaming, learning, or chatting with friends, your digital world should be safe and fun. Here are 5 quick tips every kid should know to protect themselves online!
Online Safety
Every child deserves to go online safely — with privacy, respect, and confidence. Let’s protect kids and empower them to be smart, kind digital citizens.
Be Kind Online
Be Kind Online is about creating a safer, more respectful digital world for everyone. It reminds us that kindness matters — in comments, messages, and every online interaction. When we pause, think, and choose empathy, we make the internet a better place for all.
Digital Safety Starts With Us
Digital safety isn’t just a lesson — it’s a shared responsibility. When adults model safe, respectful, and thoughtful online behaviour, children learn to do the same. By staying informed, setting healthy boundaries, and talking openly about online experiences, we help young people build the confidence and skills they need to navigate the digital world safely.
